This Brooklands was my first restoration project, taking 3 years to complete with every bearing and wearing part refurbished or replaced, all new wheel bearings, king pins, shackles and pins, brake moving parts, all as new. It has performed well in 2019 winning class 2 modified on several occasions, and winning the class overall at Presecott long Course at the end of the season. For next year I have added some caster to the front axle, and properly set up the tracking to tow in a little, ready to start to adjust along with tire pressures to get the best out of the car this year. The engine is still bedding in so hopeful of even more than the current 65 bhp as more miles are covered.
